Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Stephanie Seaholm, President
Stephanie began rescuing and caring for sick and injured animals as a young girl. Starting with bugs, reptiles, rodents, birds, squirrels, cats, dogs and so on. She is a gentle soul with a huge heart. Her compassion, kindness, appreciation and love for all creatures is a gift. She feels animals are on a higher level and have much to teach humans. Her heart work is to help animals heal and partner with them to help humans heal. She believes that time with the animals, the earth and nature will help connect people back to their hearts. She dreams of a more compassionate, kind and loving world where all beings matter because truly everything has a purpose in this circle of life. Stephanie had dreamed of having a ranch/rescue/sanctuary of her own for many years. That dream finally became a reality in early 2021. The rescue became official at the end of 2022 and Earth Angels Animal Rescue and Sanctuary was born. Stephanie’s calling to help animals is a lifelong passion. Her goal is to help save, rehab, rehome any animals that find their way to EAARS and educate humans. The most important collective message from the animals is love. Love is the key to everything.

Nicki Lynn Sclama is a technology expert, educator and businesswoman turned Equine Guided - Discovery, Leadership & Wellness Coach. She holds a Bachelors in IT with minors in Business Management & Finance and a number of computing & technology certificates.
For over two decades she worked in organizational development, software, academia, banking and finance. After a twenty year career in the logical world of high tech, business and education - Nicki paused and took a step back going on a retreat of her own. She took a four year sabbatical while planning a European wedding, giving birth to her wild child Cowboy ‘Lil and trying on the SAHM thing until she was ready to return to the working world. This time she decided it would be different. She heard the call and she followed the energy. It was here she entered the place where there is understanding you cannot always see, energy that communicates not always with words; the non-linear parts in and outside all of us where self-awareness, authenticity, mental and physical self-discovery and leadership are critical to the future of our wellbeing and our relationships.

Ariela has been an animal lover all her life, drawn to rescuing animals in need at a young age. Her parents tell funny story of stray cats following her home from school. She started seriously getting into pit bull rescue as an adult and would foster and adopt out dogs. At age 16, she got her first horse and was disturbed by how she was taught to raise and train and stopped being with horses for 10 years until age 26 when she felt the call again to help and be with horses. Her passion is rescue and rehabbing animals. She currently lives in TN and runs the TN location with 26 pigs, 4 horses, 2 donkeys, and 2 bulls. She is currently studying to become certified in equine massage. Her vision and dream is to show others how incredible these animals are and how much character and personality they have and how much healing they can bring humans. We think she's a little bit too obsessed with pigs, but, hey, everyone has their quirks!

Heddie found her place of service in working with children and animals, through animal assisted therapy and the Research Center for Human Animal Interactions. Her gifts and talents have been shared with thousands of children at schools, summer camps, special needs programs, 4H, Girl and Boy Scouts and a myriad of other activities that involve children, including domestic violence shelters. Her experience includes serving as an instructor and evaluator for a therapy animal organization. She is also experienced in crisis intervention work through CERT, Community Emergency Response Team, and NSAR. As lead trainer/consultant for the Missouri Department of Corrections, she has had the opportunity to reach thousands of lives, both human and canine, teaching offenders to train shelter dogs through the Missouri Puppies for Parole Program where she has developed training protocols using force free methods. This “world-within-a-world” mantra summarizes her commitment to service in helping others learn all beings are an interconnected cycle of life bound by an invisible golden thread which creates a beautiful mosaic of life. Her company BarnZen4U epitomizes that concept www.barnzen4u.org
